RETURN TO WEDDING

Laura and Eric are architects who reside in San Diego when they book me to cover their wedding in Kansas City. Both are natives of the city with family member in the metro area. This was one of those weddings that from the very beginning you know it was going to be a fun event. I meet Laura and Eric for the first time when they came down to my studio while home for Christmas. I got an understanding of what they were looking for then off we went to do the engagement shoot. Since both are architects I wanted to display some KC’s unique buildings in the background. We did some studio shoot then off we went to the Country Club Plaza and had a blast.

I really did not have to do much on my technique to make this event artsy. After all, the wedding took place in one of Kansas City’s art gallery called the Blue Gallery. The space was extremely cozy and the images around the gallery brought the event to life. As a photographer it was such a rush being a part of the day.
